Another tag for a swap
Hello, hello scrappers! Hope you're doing well on this beautiful day! I have another tag to share with you for a swap I'm doing at Paper Phenonomen. The swap was to do a tag for Mothers Day or to celebrate women. I did a tag to celebrate women...simply because we are such strong creatures. The sentiment says, "The strength of a woman is her Heart" which I truly believe. I used the forever young cricut cartridge to cut out the woman silhouette. The flowers are handmade and the big white one is from I am roses. I embossed the background with Stampin Ups En Francais stamp with versa mark and embossed it with white opaque embossing powder. I sponged around the edges with black ink to try to give it a bit of a shabby chic look. I'm pretty happy with the way it turned out. I hope the ladies that will be receiving it likes it. I haven't been making tags very long so your comments would be greatly appreciated. Hope you'll come back soon....until then, Happy Scrappin!
Tag Swap at the Scrapbeach
Hi everyone....sorry it's been so long since I've posted anything but I've been busy working on swaps. I think I've joined about 8 so I've been working frantically to get them all done. What I want to share with you today is a tag I created for a swap at the Scrapbeach. The theme was to do a vintage 4th of July tag...we had a certain element we had to add and mine was a dangle charm. This is what I came up with.

and here is the back of the tag...we had to include a frame on the back.

I hope you enjoyed looking and I hope you'll come back soon. Until then, Happy Scrappin!!!!

Wish List
Hi everybody! I wanted to tell you about an awesome swap that is going on at scrappyhappiness.ning.com It is called the "Wish List" and a person writes down things, items she/he would like to receive. Another person comes along and grants them at least two items off of their list. The receiver has no idea what they will be getting.....then, after you grant someones wishes, you get to add your wishes so someone else can grant them. It's really awesome! You should come and check it out. There are alot of awesome people on there that are members...I'm sure if you come by, you'll have a great time.

Embrace Beauty Mini
Hi everyone! Thanks for stopping by. Today I have a 6 x 6 album I'd like to share with you. I used the Susan Wingate Designer paper and the Brenda Walton speciality papers from K&Company. I love, love, love these papers. I couldn't decide on which one I wanted to use, so I used a little of both of them. lol I also used the chipboard pieces and the stickers that go along with these collections. I made all the flowers with the sizzix layered flowers die #2, I think that's what it's called. I also used the Tim Holtz Tattered Florals die and plenty of glimmer mist. The orange flower was cut out using an accucut die that I have had forever. If you have any questions about this mini, please feel free to send me an email. I hope you've enjoyed looking and until tomorrow, "Happy Scrapping!"

Spring is in the air!
Hello there! I hope everyone has been enjoying this beautiful weather we have been having. Spring is in the air and it makes me think of beautiful and colorful flowers. I created these flowers using the Tim Holtz Tattered Angels die, lavender fields glimmer mist, hottie patottie pink and baby blue eyes aqua starburst stains. I cut out 3 layers of the medium and small flowers and stacked them. I have some small pearl beads in the middles. I am in the process of doing a tutorial for these on YouTube. I hope you've enjoyed looking and I hope you'll come back soon! Until then, "Happy Scrapping!"
